Applications are invited for a full time (10PA’s) Consultant ENT Surgeon for the Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to compliment to join an existing well-established Department.

A candidate with an interest in Otology is sought.

Some past experience in Paediatric ENT practice would be an advantage as would a willingness to develop further interest in Paediatric ENT practice.

The appointee to this post will join three other Consultant ENT Surgeons and two Associate Specialist Surgeons in our well-established team within this expanding Department which has been successful in attracting an increasing commissioned caseload.

The Departmental ENT Consultants have a variety of special interests and have recently developed in conjunction with local Endocrinologists an ENT based Endocrine Surgery Service.

Significant increases in activity within some sub-speciality domains of ENT surgery have been seen in the recent past with Paediatric practice well represented.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is situated on a green field site two miles east of the centre of Chesterfield and comprises approximately of 630 beds. It provides almost all of the acute in-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
